Work starts on Internet New City in Ho Chi Minh City

The construction of the Internet New City was kicked off in the Ho Chi Minh City hi-tech zone on June 18.

The Internet New City zone was invested by the Internet New City Ltd. Co and Lion Asia Corporation with a total capital of VND 1,000 billion.

Once in operation, the zone will provide its customers with data, chip designs, software application and development, mobile device and customer assisting services of its kind.

So far, the Ho Chi Minh City hi-tech zone has attracted 37 investment projects with a total capital of US$1.718 billion, of which, 11 projects are under operation. The project on chipset assembly of the Intel Corporation with the capital of US$1 billion is the biggest project done in the Ho Chi Minh City hi-tech zone.
