Diesel price down by VND500/litre

The retail price of diesel dropped by VND500 to VND10,500/litre as from 10pm on February 9.

However, the prices of A92 petrol, paraffin oil and mazut oil remain unchanged, with A92 petrol at VND11,000/litre and paraffin oil at VND12,000/litre.

The reduction in diesel price was approved by the Price Management Department under the Ministry of Finance, with the aim of ironing out snags for businesses operating in the fields of production and transportation.

The Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex) applied the new price level to its whole retail network the same day.
