Over 400 projects removed from Hanoi’s delayed implementation list

Hanoi People’s Committee has submitted a report to Hanoi People’s Council on the progress of 712 delayed non-budget land use projects. Among these, 420 projects have been removed from the list of delayed projects but remain under supervision.

As of November 2024, 706 projects covering spanning 11,352 hectares have been handled. The remaining six projects, which have received investment decisions but have not been allocated or leased land by the State, are under review.

Specifically, 420 projects have been taken off the delayed list but will continue to be monitored. For 292 projects, implementation directives have been issued, with continued supervision and follow-ups after a 24-month extension due to force majeure.

Additionally, 97 projects have been granted a 24-month land use extension, requiring investors to pay fees corresponding to the land use or lease for the extended period. Furthermore, 189 projects have undergone inspections or audits, with relevant departments tasked to oversee their implementation.

For 117 projects reviewed by district-level authorities, 71 have not been allocated or leased land, and 46 have already been allocated or leased.

Among the 71, three were removed from the delayed list, three were terminated, five are being expedited for implementation, and 36 are awaiting resolution proposals.

The remaining 24 are under close monitoring. Regarding the 46 projects with land allocation or leases, two have been removed from the delayed list, one received a 24-month extension with additional fees, four are being supervised, and 39 are undergoing further review by an inter-agency inspection team.

Hanoi People’s Committee has instructed local authorities to ensure strict supervision, follow-ups, and timely resolution for all remaining projects.
