Long An approves new industrial park near HCM City border
The People's Council of Long An Province has approved construction of the Lộc Giang Industrial Park at a convenient close to the HCM City and Tây Ninh Province borders.

To spread over a total of 466ha, it will be situated in the communes of Tân Mỹ, An Ninh Đông and Lộc Giang in Đức Hòa District and cost VNĐ5.2 trillion (over US$222 million).
It will seek to attract environment-friendly manufacturing industries with modern production lines.
Long An has 35 industrial parks with a total plan area of 9,364.4ha.
For five others with an area of 997.86ha, applications have been submitted for licensing by the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
In the first half of this year 48 investors who have set up plants in industrial parks, including 37 foreign companies who will invest more than $220 million.
