China’s Omoda C5 cars make first appearance in Vietnam
A pair of Omoda C5 cars, manufactured by Chinese automaker Chery, has been introduced in Hai Phong City, a major port city in northern Vietnam.

The press got a glimpse at the Omoda C5 Deluxe and Omoda C5 Luxury at the Doi Rong (Dragon Hill) international tourist site in the city on Saturday and Sunday last week.
Though the Chery Omoda C5, a compact crossover SUV, is being shown in Vietnam, when it will go on sale has yet to be announced.
In late 2021, the Chinese carmaker announced that it would tap the Vietnamese market, but it has yet to sell any in the Southeast Asian nation.
The two versions of the Omoda C5, debuted in Vietnam, were imported from Indonesia. Their prices have not been announced.
However, many car experts predict that the price of the Omoda C5 will hover around VND700 million (US$28,340), reported the Vietnam News Agency.
