Hà Nội’s Remarkable Investment Surge in 2023
Ha Noi experienced a significant boost in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2023, solidifying its position as an attractive destination for international investors. The city successfully attracted nearly US$2.9 billion in FDI capital, marking a remarkable 62 per cent increase compared to the previous year.

The first 11 months of 2023 witnessed a particularly impressive performance, with registered foreign investment capital in Ha Noi estimated to have soared to US$2.69 billion. This represents an outstanding growth of 77.1 per cent over the same period in 2022, securing Ha Noi the 5th position nationwide in terms of attracting foreign investment capital.
This surge in FDI reflects not only the city's growing economic prowess but also its increasing appeal to global investors. As Ha Noi continues to foster an environment conducive to business and innovation, the influx of foreign capital is poised to contribute significantly to the capital city's economic development and enhance its standing on the national stage.
