STB: Explanation for the separate FS in Q3.2022 Sai Gon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank has explained the separate financial statement for Quarter 3/2022:
- Profit after tax of Q3.2022 was 1.113.1 billion dongs, increased by 553.7 billion dongs compared to the Quarter 3/2021 due to the following reasons:
a) Net profit increased by 2,391.3 billion dongs because:
+ Profit and other incomes increased by 2,854.9 billion dongs.
- The lending balance increased by 64.064 billion dongs, so the gain from lending increased by 2.741.1 billion dongs;
- The deposit at credit increased by 10,365 billion dongs compared to the same period of last year, so the gain from deposit increased by 87.6 billion dongs;
- The debt securities investment decreased compared to the same period of last year, so the gain from debt securities investment decreased by 29.3 billion dongs;
- Other gains increased by 55.5 billion dongs.
+ Expenses for deposit and borrowing increased by 463.6 billion dongs.
- The deposit of customers increased by 57,329 billion dongs compared to the same period of last year, so the deposit interest expense increased by 411.8 billion dongs;
- Borrowing from other credit institutions increased by 3,190 billion dongs compared to the same period of last year, so borrowing interest expense increased by 54.9 billion dongs.
- Other expenses decreased by 3.1 billion dongs.
b) Other income increased by 439.4 billion dongs compared to the same period of last year. In particular, the net income from service activities increased by 469.6 billion dongs; net income from the foreign exchange trading increased by 75.4 billion dongs; net income securities trading decreased by 70.8 billion dongs; income from capital contribution to buy shares decreased by 34.8 billion dongs.
c) Other expenses increased by 2,277 billion dongs. In particular, the provision for credit increased by 1,477.5 billion dongs; the operating expense increased by 663.4 billion dongs; the corporate income tax expense increased by 136.1 billion dongs.
Therefore, - (a) + (b) – (c) = 553.7 billion dongs. HOSE
