ADS: Record date for 2021 stock dividend payment On August 25, 2022, the Hochjminh Stock Exchange issued an Announcement No.1556/TB-SGDHCM about the record date of Damsan Joint Stock Company as follows:
- Ex-right date: September 05, 2022
- Record date: September 06, 2022
1. Reason & Purpose: to pay stock divdiend for 2021.
2. Content:
- Exercise ratio: 100:15 (Those who own 100 shares will receive 15 new shares.)
- Expected issue volume: 5,710,417 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled.
- For example: at the record date, shareholder A owns 183 shares. With 100:15 exercise ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 183*15/100 = 27.4 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A will receive 27 new shares and the fractional shares of 0.4 share will be cancelled.
- Place of implementation:
+ For deposited securities: Shareholder will implement procedures to receive dividend at the securities company where shareholders opened securities depository account.
