ACB: Explanation for business performance in first six months of 2022 Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank has explained the business performance in first six months of 2022 with details as follows:
- Based on the separate financial statements in first six months of 2022, the Company’s profit after tax increased by 2,283,096 million dongs, increased by 46.56% compared to the same period of 2021 mainly due to:
- Net interest income increased by 1,334,216 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021.
- Provision expense for credit risk decreased by 2,248,914 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021.
- Net profit from other activities increased by 536,732 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021 due to the recovery of bad debts used for risk settlement increased by 529,201 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021.
- Based on the consolidated financial statements in first six months of 2022, the Company’s profit after tax increased by 2,159,047 million dongs, increased by 42.57% compared to the same period of 2021 mainly due to:
- Net interest income increased by 1,417,103 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021.
- Provision expense for credit risk decreased by 2,262,213 million dongs compared to the same period of 2021.
