MSB: Plan for increasing charter capital in 2022 The Board resolution dated July 19, 2022, the BOD of Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank approved the plan for stock issuance to raise capital from the onwer equity with details as follows:
- Stock name: Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank
- Stock type: common share
- Par value: 10,000 dongs/share
- Number of shares issued: 1,527,500,000 shares
- Number of outstanding shares: 1,527,500,000 shares
- Number of treasury shares: 0 share
- Number of shares expected to be issued from treasury shares: 458,250,000 shares
- Total value (at par value): VND 4,582,500,000,000
- Issuance ratio: 30% (Those who own 100 shares will receive 30 new shares)
- Total shares after the issuance (estimated): 1,985,750,000 shares
- Total value after the issuance (estimated): VND19,857,500,000,000
- Time of implementation: expected in 2022.
- Time of implementation: after completing stock issuance to raise capital from the owner’s equity.
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be transferred to Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
For example: at the record date, shareholder A owns 101 shares. With 30% exercise ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 101 * 30% = 30.3 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A will receive 30 new shares and the fractional shares of 0.3 share will be transferred to Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
