SBT: Investing in Tanisugar JSC

The Board resolution dated December 27, 2021, the Board of Directors of Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (SBT) approved to buy shares of Tay Ninh Sugar Joint Stock Company (Tanisugar). Details are as follows:

-          Issuer: Tay Ninh Sugar Joint Stock Company

-          Charter capital: VND294,040,000,000, equivalent to 29,404,000 shares

-          Expected purchase volume: 16,780,000 shares, equivalent to 57.07% number of outstanding shares of Tanisugar.

-          Time of implementation: Quarter II or Quarter III for FY 2021 – 2022

-          Trading method: put through

-          After the purchase completes, Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company will own 63.99% of charter capital of Tanisugar. Accordingly, Tanisugar will become a subsidiary of SBT.
