CTF: Reminded of rights exercise

On January 20, 2021, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) received an office document from the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) regarding the change of time of rights transfer and subscription in the 2020 public offering of City Auto Corporation. Accordingly, the Company changed the time of rights transfer from “from January 04, 2021 to January 20, 2021” to “from January 04, 2021 to January 27, 2021”, and the subscription time from “from January 04, 2021 to January 25, 2021” to “from January 04, 2021 to February 01, 2021”.  

However, on January 20, 2021, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange received an announcement from City Auto Corporation regarding the change of time of rights transfer and subscription. The Corporation was slow in sending documents to HOSE, affecting the interests of shareholders. Therefore, HOSE required City Auto Corporation to send legal documents relevant to the rights exercise to VSD and HOSE to ensure the interests of shareholders.
