GMD: Explanation for the 2019 financial statements

Gemadept Corporation has explained the fluctuation in the financial statements in 2019 compared to 2018 as follows:

1. Parent company’s financial statements:

 -       The audited consolidated after-tax profit in 2019 reached more than VND423 billion, decreasing by VND1,566 billion compared to the year of 2018 mainly because the Company gained profit from the stake transfer in subsidiaries in 2018.

2. The consolidated financial statements:

-       The audited consolidated after-tax profit in 2019 reached more than VND517 billion, decreasing by VND1,330 billion compared to the year of 2018 mainly because the Company gained profit from the stake transfer in subsidiaries in 2018.
