Fertiliser firm to pay $20.5 million dividend

PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertiliser JSC will spend VND476.5 billion (US$20.5 million) to pay a cash dividend for its performance in 2018.

The dividend payout rate is set at 9 per cent and every shareholder will receive VND900 for each share they have.

The payment is scheduled for October 15, 2019. The list of beneficiary shareholders will be finalised on September 26.

In 2018, the company recorded nearly VND6.7 trillion in total revenue, up 16.4 per cent year on year.

Its post-tax profit was VND659 billion in 2018, slightly increased from the previous year figure of VND641 billion.

In the first half of 2019, PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertiliser earned VND3.45 trillion worth of revenue, which rose 5.9 per cent yearly.
