HPX: Board approves to issue shares for capital increase On November 15, 2018, the Board of Directors of Hai Phat Investment Joint Stock Company to approved the stock issuance to increase capital from 2017 the owner’s equity as follows:
- Stock name: Hai Phat Investment Joint Stock Company
- Stock code: HPX
- Charter capital before the issuance: VND1,724,999,850,000
- Stock type: common share
- Par value: 10,000 dongs
- Number of shares expected to be issued: 27,496,497 shares
- Total value (based on par value): VND274,964,970,000
- Charter capital after the issuance: 1,999,964,820,000
- Purpose: to issue shares for capital increase from 2017 the owner’s equity.
- Exercise ratio: 10% (Shareholders are entitled to have 01 new share for every 10 shares owned).
- Issue ratio: 15.94%
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down. The fractional shares will be cancelled.
- For example: At the record date, shareholder A owned 1,500 shares. With 15.94% performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,500 * 15.94/100 = 239.1 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 239 new shares. The fractional shares of 0.1 will be cancelled.
- Time of implementation: expected in 2018.
