CTS: Record date for 2017 stock dividend On August 29, 2018, Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.1109/TB-SGDHCM about the record date for 2017 stock dividend of Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade Securities Joint Stock Company as follows:
- Ex-right date: September 07, 2018
- Record date: September 10, 2018
- Reason & Purpose: to pay stock dividend for 2017.
- Contents:
- Exercise ratio: 9% (Shareholders are entitled to have 09 new shares for every 100 shares owned.)
- Expected issue volume: 8,785,458 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down. The fractional shares will be cancelled.
- For example: At the record date, shareholder A owned 1,005 shares. With 9% performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,005 * 9% = 90.45 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 90 new shares. The fractional shares of 0.45 will be cancelled.
