BSI: Record date for stock dividend On October 24, 2017, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.1162/TB-SGDHCM about the record date for stock dividend of BIDV Securities Joint Stock Company as follows:
- Exright date: November 02, 2017
- Record date: November 03, 2017
1) Reason & Purpose: to pay first stock dividend for 2017.
2) Content:
- Exercise ratio: 5%, equivalent to 100:5 (shareholders are entitled to have 05 new shares for every 100 shares owned.)
- Estimated issue volume: 4,649,424 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down, the fractional shares will be cancelled
- For example: At the record date, shareholder A owned 1,261 shares. With 5% performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,1261 * 5% = 63.05 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 63 new shares. The fractional shares of 0.05 will be cancelled.
