PPI: PPI still in the warning status
On August 29, 2017, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE) received the 2017 semi-annual reviewed consolidated financial statements of Pacific Infrastructure Project Development and Investment Corporation (code: PPI). According to the report, the after-tax profit of the parent company’s shareholders was -14.89 billion dongs, and the undistributed after-tax profit until December 31, 2016 was 1.51 billion dongs. In the period, the Company transferred 29.61 billion dongs from the Development Investment Fund to the undistributed profit according to the Resolution of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2017 dated 06/30/2017. In the event that the Company did not perform the transfer, its undistributed after-tax profit at 06/30/2017 would be -28.1 billion dongs.
Therefore, PPI continues to suffer losses and has not overcome the causes making the stock under the warning status. HOSE continues to remain the warning status for the stock PPI and will consider solutions for the stock PPI after having the 2017 audited financial statements.
