CTS: Record date for 2016 stock dividend On July 27, 2017, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Announcement No.891/TB-SGDHCM about the record date for stock dividend of Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade Securities Joint Stock Company as follows:
- Exright date: August 08, 2017
- Record date: August 09, 2017
1) Reason & Purpose:
- To pay stock dividends for 2016.
2) Content:
- Exercise ratio: 8% (shareholders are entitled to have 08 new shares for every 100 shares owned).
- Estimated issue volume: 7,230,964 shares
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down, the fractional shares will be cancelled.
- For example: On the record date to finalize shareholders, shareholder A owned 1,005 shares. With 8% performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,005 * 8% = 80.4 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A receives 80 new shares. The fractional shares of 0.4 shares will be cancelled.
