Viet Capital Bank launches programme to lend to coffee growers, traders
Viet Capital Bank has in collaboration with agricultural commodities trader Intimex Buon Ma Thuot launched a programme called ‘Providing capital for coffee production and trade' in Dak Lak Province.
Individuals and businesses requiring credit for carrying on coffee production and trading can mortgage finished products or raw coffee to borrow up to 70 per cent of the value from the bank for a month to a year.
The bank will warehouse the mortgaged goods for free at Intimex Buon Ma Thuot warehouse if a borrower sells them to the company besides waiving related fees such as stevedoring, insurance premiums, and others.
