MHL: Notice of record date for dividend payment by shares, issuing bonus shares to outstanding shareholders Minh Huu Lien Investment Joint Stock Company announced the notice of record date for dividend payment by shares, issuing bonus shares to outstanding shareholders as follows:
- Record date: 29/06/2015
- Ex-date: 25/06/2015
Reason and purpose:
* Dividend payment for 2014 by shares:
- Exercise rate: 10:1 (shareholder owning ten shares will receive the right to one new share). The number of shares for dividend payment will be rounded down to the unit digit.
- Transfer restriction:
+ The right of receiving new shares is not transferred
+ The addition shares are freely transferred
For example: on the record date for dividend payment, Shareholder A owns 155 shares. Shareholder A will receive the number of new shares: (155:10) x 1= 15.50 shares, this number will be rounded to 15 shares. 0.5 share will be canceled.
- Place of payment:
+ For deposited shares: securities companies where shares of shareholders have been deposited.
+ For undeposited shares: Shareholders make procedures at the Office of the Company (R1-49 Hung Phuoc 4 – PMH – Bui Bang Doan, Tan Hong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City). Identification Card/ Passport are required.
* Issuing bonus shares to outstanding shareholders:
- Exercise rate: 25:1 (01 share enjoys one right, 25 rights buy 1 new share, treasury shares enjoy no right), shareholder owns 25 shares will receive 25 rights. 25 rights receives one new share. The number of bonus shares will be rounded down to unit digit
- Transfer restriction:
+ The right of receiving new shares is not transferred
+ The addition shares are freely transferred
- Rounding method: the number of registered shares will be rounded to the unit digit. The number of fractional shares (if any) will be canceled
For example: on the record date for dividend payment, Shareholder A owns 155 shares. Shareholder A will receive the number of new shares: (155:25) x 1= 6.2 shares, this number will be rounded to 6 shares. 0.2 share will be canceled.
+ For deposited shares: securities companies where shares of shareholders have been deposited.
