Bang appointed as Bao Viet Insurance's General Director
Phan Kim Bang has been accepted for the position of Bao Viet Insurance Ltd's General Director from May 25 onwards for a five-year term.
The appointment was made in accordance with recent decisions announced by the Ministry of Finance and the company's owner, Bao Viet Holdings (BVH).
Bang, born in 1965, is also the chairman of Bao Viet Insurance's executive board and a member of BVH's executive board.
BVH, founded in 1964, has a network of more than 150 branches in 63 cities and provinces. The company provides financial services, including insurance, banking, fund management, securities and investments.
The corporation's shares were listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange from June 2009. It had a net equity of more than VND12 trillion (over US$545.4 million) by December 31, 2014.
