HVG: Explanation for business result in Q1.2015 (Single entity F.S)

Hung Vuong Corporation explained the fluctuation in business results in Quarter 1/2015 compared to Quarter 1/2014 as follows:

-         In Quarter 1/2015, because of long vacation time of NewYear and Tet, Hung Vuong Corporation’s sales decreased while the Corporation still had to pay salary, interest, etc., so expenses increased. Therefore, the gross profit decreased 67%, or VND101,213,904,539.

-         Besides, the financial income decreased 27%, financial expense rose 32%, selling expense saved 18%, administrative expense decreased 13%, other profit increased, so the profit in Quarter 1/2015 rose VND19,679,882,535.

-         The impact of the above factors made the profit after tax of Hung Vuong Corporation in Quarter 1/2015 decreased 88%, equivalent to VND81,534,022,004, compared to Quarter 1/2014.
