Work begins on $2.86m conger processing plant

The construction of a conger processing factory, worth VND60 billion (US$2.86 million) commenced in the southern Bac Lieu Province on Monday.

Financed by Hong Dan Seafood JSC and South Korea's Seil Yangman Co., the 8,000-square metre plant is designed to process seven tonnes of raw fish each day. It is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2016.
