HAP: Explanation for Q4.2014 Profit & Loss (The Parent Company)

Hapaco Group Joint Stock Company explained the Quarter 4.2014profit and loss in the financial statements as follows:

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2013: VND2,146,419,978

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 4/2014: VND1,750,298,794

-         Difference: -VND396,121,184 (-22.6%)

Reason: In the period, the incomes from deposit interest, lending interest, profit from short-term and long-term investments helped the Company’s revenue and financial profit to increase sharply compared to the same period of 2013. However, other expenses, borrowing interest, loss from exchange difference also rose sharply. Therefore, the profit after tax decreased VND396,121,184 (-22.6%).
