TDH: Explanation for the business result in Quarter 4, 2014

Thu Duc House Development Corporation explained the business result in Quarter 4, 2014 as follows:

Business result of parent company:

-         Net revenue in Quarter 4, 2014 was VND201.1 billion, increasing 146.3% compared to the same period of 2013. Gross profit was VND29.1 billion and after tax profit was VND9.7 billion compared to Quarter 4/2013.

-         Reasons:

• Net revenue from sales and services in Quarter 4/2014 was VND201.1 billion, increasing 146.3% compared to the same period of 2013 thanks to land area at Tam Binh Ward, Truong Tho Corporative Housing, Phuoc Long Spring Town.
• Although, revenue increased but gross profit decreased because ratio of cost of goods sold on net revenue in the period (85.5%) was higher than compared to the same period of 2013 (48.5%).
• Gross profit in the period decreased leading to before tax profit and after tax profit decreased compared to the same period of 2013, before tax profit was VND12.9 billion (decreasing 32.9%) and after tax profit was VND9.7 billion (decreasing 49.7%).
• In 2014, net revenue was VND377.3 billion (increasing 47.4%), after tax profit was VND27.8 billion, increasing 04 times compared to the same period of 2013.
