CII: Explanation for business result in Quarter 3.2014

Hochiminh City Infrastructure Investment JSC (stock code: CII) disclosed business results of the parent company as follows:

-          Profit before tax: VND92.2 billion, increasing 26.6% compared to the same period of last year;

-          Profit after tax: VND77.2 billion, increasing 7.97% compared to the same period of last year.

Profit in Quarter 3/2014 increased higher than profit in Quarter 3/2013 because of the following reasons:

-          In the period, to implement the board resolution on the decrease in CII’s ownership in CII Bridges and Roads Investment JSC (stock code: LGC) to below 80%, CII completed the selling of 6,900,000 LGC shares to earn a considerable profit for the company.

-          Besides, investment cost decreased compared to the same period of last year.
