SHI: Explanation for the profit of Quarter 2/2014 of parent company
Son Ha International Corporation explained fluctuations in business results of Quarter 2/2014 compared to Quarter 2/2013, based on the financial statements of parent company of Quarter 2/2014:
1) Revenue: In Quarter 2/2014, SHI’s revenue increased 37% compared to the same period of 2013 mainly because the firm opened many agents.2) Cost of goods sold: SHI’s cost of goods sold in Quarter 2/2014 increased 37% compared to Quarter 2/2013.3) Financial income: total financial income decreased 51%.4) Financial expense: total financial expense decreased 14%.5) Selling expense: Selling expense increased 45% compared to the same period of 2013 because of increases in wage expense, promotion and advertising expenses and other expenses. 6) General and administration expense increased 37% compared to the same period of 2013 because of increases in wage expense.7) Other income increased 100% compared to the same period of 20138) Profit before tax: Profit before tax in Quarter 2/2014 increased 97% compared to Quarter 2/2013.
