HVG: Explanation for Separate business result in Q2, 2014

According to Separate financial statements of Quarter 2, 2014 was higher than Quarter 2, 2013. Hung Vuong Corporation (HV CORP) explained the fluctuation in business result of parent company as follows:

-         Gross profit in Quarter 2, 2014 increased 43,571,263,316 dongs or 71% compared to Quarter 2,2013, in which: gross profit from activity business increased. But net profit from business in Quarter 2,2014 increased 1,201,602,296 dongs or 29.83% compared to Quarter 2,2013 because the firm made a provision for bad debts by 39,563,030,036 dongs.

-         Other profit in Quarter 2, 2014 decreased 2,349,619,064 dongs

-         Therefore,  profit after tax decreased 8,733,541,491 dongs or 69%.
