Global Emerging Markets (GEM) buys up to 20% stake of DLG
Duc Long Gia Lai Group (HOSE: DLG) on August 7 signed an agreement on strategic cooperation and investment with Global Emerging Markets (GEM). Accordingly, the U.S. fund commits to buying up to 20% stake of DLG.
After thoroughly conducting market research of Vietnam’s business environment and operation of Vietnamese enterprises, GEM highly evaluates DLG’s business, especially the company’s strong restructuring plan in order to become the leading group in infrastructure, energy and agricultural areas. Therefore, both parties agreed to execute a memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation, whereas GEM commits to strategically invest in up to 20% of DLG’s shares.
This deal is consulted and arranged by Asia Global Capital Group (New York), Bamboo Capital Group and MESA Research Vietnam.
