V21: Explanation for operating result in FS Q.II/2013

(16 September 2013) Vinaconex 21 JSC explained the operating result in FS Q.II/2013 as follows:

Vinaconex 21 JSC operates in the field of construction and real estate. The economic slowdown considerably affected the activities of the Company. The profit of Q.II/2013 lost for below reasons:

- Revenue of Q.II/2013 decreased because of stagnating construction, frozen real estate

- Price of input materials such as bricks, sand, stones, steel, cement etc. increased

- The Company’s capital is mainly loans. The economic slowdown badly affected the Company’s activities while the Company still had to spend expenses maintaining its operation and paying interest to credit organizations.
