CTS: Explanation for difference of profit between quarter III/2013 and quarter III/2012

On 15/10/2013, Vietinbank Securities Joint Stock Company explained decrease of 10% of profit in quarter III/2013 compared to quarter III/2012 as follows:
Forecasting that economy and stock market would still meet many difficulties and complicated happenings so in quarter III/2013, Vietinbank Securities Joint Stock Company was more careful in investment items and restructured investment portfolio; therefore, revenue from stock investment increased compared to the same period in the previous year. However, revenue of consulting activity decreased because joint stock companies became more reserved in listing. In addition, due to influence of policy of decreasing interest rate of capital mobilization, revenue from business activity also decreased. These were reasons for decrease of 10% of business performance in quarter III/2013 compared to quarter III/2012.
