SCD: Information on tax arrears collection

The Tax Department of Hochiminh City issued a decision on September 10 about tax treatment to Chuong Duong Beverages Joint Stock Company (CDBECO). Accordingly, CDBECO will pay VND6,947,318,391 for corporate income tax arrears and be fined VND3,270,758,739. So, total amount payable will be up to VND10 billion. The main reason is because CDBECO declared and paid the incentive income tax equal to 50% of corporate income tax in 2009 and 2010 from the tax exemption for listing stock in 2006 (because in 2007 and 2008 the Company still received incentives for the privatized State enterprises).
