NBB Investment Corporation explained the fluctuation in its revenue and profit after tax between Quarter 2/2013 and Quarter 2/2012, based on its single entity financial statements:

-         Net revenue in Quarter 2/2013 increased VND1,487,200,069 (+2%) compared to Quarter 2/2012, and profit after tax in Quarter 2/2013 rose VND11,073,126,895 (+81%) because of the following reasons:

+         In Quarter 2/2012, the Corporation’s revenue was mainly from construction contracts, but the return ratio from construction was very low (9-11%).

+         In Quarter 2/2013, BOT Phan Rang – Thap Cham Project was being in the final stage, so revenue from construction decreased, but revenue from selling grounds rose highly. This helped the profit after tax increased sharply.
