CMI: Explanation for audit exception in the FS year 2012

On 15/05/2013, Cavico Industry and Minerals JSC explained the audit exception in the FS year 2012 as follows:

-         First exception: When auditor made Financial Statement Year 2012, auditor didn’t receive Financial Statement 2012 of Real Estate Development and Investment Cavico JSC. Therefore, the auditor cannot evaluate allowance for decrease in investment.

+ Explanation of the Company: Real Estate Development and Investment Cavico JSC didn’t finish Financial Statement 2012

-         Second exception: Because the auditor had not received confirmation of trading receivable of VND 8.87 billion and other receivable of VND 802 million from Traffic Cavico JSC. Thus, the auditor cannot guarantee for the accounts and consider its effect on other involved accounts.

+ Explanation of the Company: The Company can’t contact with Chief Accountant of Traffic Cavico JSC.  Debt of Traffic Cavico JSC will be deducted gradually from Traffic Cavico JSC’s amount of money hold by investor of Dakdrinh Hydroelectric power (DHC) after liquidating contract signed by 3 sides which confirming CMI’s account.
