CMG: Explanation for business result from Apr 01 to Jun 30, 2013

According to the consolidated financial statements of CMC Corporation in Quarter 1/2013 (from April 01, 2013 to June 30, 2013), its profit was lower than the same period of 2012 because of the following reasons:

-         The Corporation’s revenue from distribution and assembly decreased due to the decrease in domestic consumption, so its profit went down compared to Quarter 1/2012.

-         In Quarter 1/2013, CMC Telecom was changed from an associated company to a subsidiary. Therefore, the consolidated report in Quarter 1/2013 included the data of CMC Telecom. This made the difference in assets, revenue, expenses compared to the same period of 2012.
