FCN: Explanation for business result in Quarter 2/2013

Fecon Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction Joint Stock Company explained the difference in profit between Quarter 2/2013 and Quarter 2/2012 as follows:

-         Fecon’s profit after tax in Quarter 2/2013 increased 13% compared to Quarter 2/2012 because of the following reasons:

+         Revenue increased thanks to the packages of projects: Son Duong Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Complex and Deep-Water Port, Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power.

+         Prices of supplies, input construction materials in Quarter 2/2013 did not change much compared to the same period of last year because the property market has been frozen.

+         Financial expense in Quarter 2/2013 decreased 30% against Quarter 2/2012.
