On 15/3/2013, Ha Tu Coal JSC explained difference in net profit after tax in the financial statement QIV. 2012 and Quarter IV.2011 as follows:

-       Net profit after tax in Financial Statement QIV.2012: VND (-) 4,179,585,329

-       Net profit after tax in Financial Statement QIV.2011: VND 32.272.422.949

-       Difference: VND (-) 36.452.008.278 (equivalent to 872.14%)

Reasons for the difference:

-       Adjustments to reduce coal price caused the reduction of income in QIV.2012 by VND37,437,574,600

-       Reduction of VND800 million in expenses
