Viettel to make winning delivery
State-owned Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation has riveted cooperation with state-run Military Insurance Company.
The two sides have clinched a comprehensive cooperation deal involving several sectors. Specifically, Military Insurance Company (MIC) will use Viettel Post’s express delivery and office stationery services, and promote its brand name on Viettel Post’s envelopes. MIC will also introduce Viettel Post’s posting services to its customers and partners.
Meanwhile, Viettel Post will directly distribute MIC’s insurance products to customers wanting to join these products via its transaction spots nationwide. In addition, MIC will insure Viettel Post’s all assets and responsibilities with competitive costs and best insurance conditions.
“Viettel Post and MIC have found their own common services aimed to benefit customers,” said Viettel Post’s general director Luong Ngoc Hai.
“The deal will enable MIC and Viettel Post to maximise their strong points and potential to enhance the prestige and brand names of both sides,” said MIC’s chairman Nguyen Quang Hien. “This is also a good chance for MIC to expand its networks of customers.”
Viettel Post, which is Vietnam’s first posting firm with overseas investment, is operating in all cities and provinces of Vietnam, and 23 provinces of Cambodia. It currently employs 2,000 people and has nearly 15,000 contributors.
Meanwhile, MIC, which is among Vietnam’s eight leading non-life insurance firms, is operating in 50 cities and provinces of Vietnam, with more than 700 staff and nearly 2,000 insurance agencies nationwide.
