REE: Explanation for business result in Q1/2013 (parent company)

Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation explained the fluctuation in profit after tax in Quarter 1/2013 compared to Quarter 1/2012:

-         Total profit before tax in Quarter 1/2013 was VND28.13billion, decreasing VND57.49 billion or 21.6% from the same period of 2012, mainly because:

+         Revenue from financial activities decreased from VND557.7 billion to VND171.7 billion, decreasing 51.9% compared to the same period of last year. Therefore, profit from financial activities decreased from VND280.5 billion to VND157.8 billion because in Quarter 1/2012, the company had financial income from disposal of investments in STB.
