HPG: Explanation for business result in Q1/2013

Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company explained the fluctuation in business result between Quarter 1/2013 and Quarter 1/2012:

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 1/2013 was VND481 billion, increasing 2.4 times compared to in Quarter 1/2012. Because:

+         Financial expense decreased: interest rate in Quarter 1/2012 decreased 17%  to 9% in Quarter 1/2013.

+         In spite of steel market difficulties, steel products of Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company have been ranked No. 2 in in the steel market.
