HAI: Explanation for consolidated business result in Quarter 1/2013

H.A.I Joint Stock Company explained the consolidated business fluctuation in quarter 1/2013 (from January 01, 2013 to March 30, 2013) as follows:

-         Revenue in Quarter 1/2013 increased from VND170,306,033,331 to VND252,305,750,642, increasing VND81,999,717,311 or 48.15% compared to in Quarter 1/2012.

-         Therefore, profit in Quarter 1/2013 increased from VND30,872,940,228 to VND42,792,313,584, increasing VND11,919,373,356 or 38,61% compared to in Quarter 1/2012.

-         Net profit in Quarter 1/2013 decreased from VND21,756,116,836 to VND12,090,384,423, decreasing 44.43% compared to in Quarter 1/2012.

-         Reason:

+         Financial expense: interest expense decreased from VND8,626,448,729 to VND4,016,678,460, decreasing 53.44%.

+         Selling expense increased from VND12,478,482,703 to VND16,063,129,133, increasing 28.73%.

+         General and administration expense increased from VND2,645,655,966 to VND11,061,134,329, increasing 318.09%.
