PVT: Explanation for business results in Q4/2012

PetroVietNam Transportation Corporation has announced explanation for (consolidated) business result in Quarter 4/2012 as follows:

Profit in Quarter 4/2012 decreased VND88.83 billion compared to in Quarter 4/2011 mainly because exchange rate differences (100.04 billion dongs) are distributed in 2013, 2014 ( according to document No 201/2009/TT-BTC of Ministry of finance).

But PetroVietNam Transportation Corporation had distributed all exchange rate differences of parent company and subsidiaries in expenses of Quarter 4/2012, leading to expenses in Quarter 4/2012 increased 100.04 billion dongs.

Therefore profit before tax in Quarter 4/2012 was less than Quarter 4/2011.
