BIDV delays the listing of stock

On October 10, 2012, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued Decision No.155/2012 to approve the listing of BIVD stock. However, because the stock market has declined, especially bank stocks, BIDV founds that if BIDV’s shares is listed in 2012, it will not be favorable and shareholders’ benefits will not be guaranteed.

Therefore, after receiving the approvals from the Prime Minister, the State Bank of Vietnam and the general meeting of shareholders, the Board of Directors of BIDV issued Resolution No.2090 dated December 25, 2012 to delay the listing of BIDV’s shares until an appropriate time.
