DCT: Reports YM Ship Related Problem

Dong Nai Roof Sheet & Construction Material JSC (DCT) reported the accident that YM Intelligent ship crashed into the crane of Cong Thanh Cement Factory Port in Nhon Trach – Dong Nai as follows:

-         As earlier announced, the firm’s major HENAN CRANE was on May 10 completely broken as the YM Intelligent ship of Liberia crashed into the crane.

-         Therefore, the firm had to stop operation of the cement factory in Nhon Trach, not operation of its all company as the roof sheet factory and cement factory at Road no. 4, Bien Hoa 1 industrial zone have been operating as normal.

-         However, YM has nearly had no action including good will of cooperation or pre-payment to help DCT overcome the effect.

-         Therefore, the company had to call Dong Nai Court for help to seize YM and debut to ask the ship owner to compensate damage from the cash. But the two sides have still failed to reach any conciliation up to now.

-         Currently, the firm has not estimated all the damage as the ship owner still has not had any solution to the problem.
