REE: Explanation for business result in Q2/2012

Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation explained the fluctuation in profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012 compared to Quarter 2/2011:

-         Total profit before tax in Quarter 2/2012 was VND138.3 billion, increased 151.7% from the same period of 2011, mainly because:

+          Gross profit in Quarter 2/2012 was VND68.8 billion, increasing VND4.7 billion (7.4%) because profit from REE Tower trading.

+          Revenue from financial activities was VND76.3 billion, increasing 62.9% compared to the same period of last year. While, financial expenses went down from VND51.7 billion in Quarter 2/2011 to –VND1.2 billion in Quarter 2/2012, so profit form financial activities in Quarter 2/2012 rose VND77.6 billion.
