Top 20 seafood exporters listed

The Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) announced late last week the top 20 largest seafood exporters in Viet Nam in the first half of this year.

Minh Phu Seafood Corp tops the list, followed by Vinh Hoan Corp, Hung Vuong Corp and Quoc Viet Co Ltd.

Notably, tuna exporters outstrip shrimp and tra fish ones in export turnover. However, seafood exports are forecast to continue facing challenges due to the unrecovered global economy, low demand and decreasing contracts from foreign importers.
