Net
revenue in Quarter 2/2012 was VND85,7 billion decreasing 50.9% compared to the
same period of 2011. Gross profit was VND13.2 billion decreasing 72.9% Profit
after tax was VND815 billion. Although, the company has saved operating expense
but revenue decreased. Profit after tax was -33.4 million dongs, profit after
tax of the parent company shareholders was 1.9 billion dongs, decreasing 80.7%
compared to the same period of 2011. Reasons: -
Net
revenue from sales and services in the period was down because of difficulties
of economic, property market and selling of products. So, revenue in Quarter
2/2012 was just VN85.7 billion decreasing VND88.9 billion (or 50.9%) leading
gross profit was VND13.2 billion decreasing 72.9% compared to Quarter 2/2011. -
Interest
expense rose from VND10.7 billion in Quarter 2/2011 to VND18.4 billion in
Quarter 2/2012 decreasing VND7.7 billion dongs (or 71.8%) compared to the same
period of 2011. -
Although
the company decreased selling expenses went down 25.6% (VND619.5 million dongs),
general and administration expenses went down 19.7% (VND3.5 billion) compared
to the same period of last year. -
The cumulative 6 months, revenue from sales
and services was VND152.6
billion. Gross profit was VND23.2 billion, profit in associates and joint
ventures was VND9.5 billion, profit
after tax was VND2.2 billion and profit after tax of the parent company’s shareholders
was VND4.9 billion.
