LSS: Explanation for business result in Q2.2012

Lamson Sugar Joint Stock Corporation explained the decrease in profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012 compared to Quarter 2/2011:

-         Profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012 was VND28,667,017,623, decreasing VND47,878,272,573 or 62.55% from Quarter 2/2011 because of the following reasons:

+         Revenue from selling and service supply in Quarter 2/2012 increased VND115,258,867,077 (29.08%) compared to in Quarter 2/2011 because  sugar sales volume and alcohol sales volume of LSS in Quarter 2/2012 were higher than in Quarter 2/2011.

-         Cost of goods sold in Quarter 2/2012 increased VND206,720,716,722 (79.2%) compared to in Quarter 2/2011 because:

+         Input expenses rose

+         Sugar sales volume and alcohol sales volume of LSS in Quarter 2/2012 were higher than in Quarter 2/2011.
