ELC: Explanation for consolidated business results in quarter 2/2012

Electronic Communications Technology Investment Development Corporation (ELCOM CORP) has explained for difference between consolidated profits after tax in quarter 2/2012 compared to in quarter 2/2011 as follows:

• Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter 2/2012: VND14,903,353,267
• Consolidated profit after tax in Quarter 2/2011: VND11,186,202,221
• Increased: VND3,717,151,046 (33.23%)

             Reason:

Exchange rate differences in quarter 2/2012 was less than quarter 2/2011 and interest rate expenses decreased leading financial expenses in quarter 2/2012 was less than quarter 2/2011. Besides, financial income in quarter 2/2012 was higher than quarter 2/2011.
